I’ve been working on a cross-world collaboration with Nigerian hip hop artist, Crucificxo. We met and became friends via Zoom working with a cultural exchange program called “YES Academy.”
Using WhatsApp, we’ve sent hundreds of messages and recordings back and forth from our two countries to create a hope-filled, anthemic, country-rap-rockin’ anthem called “Brand New Day.”
